I'm Back...

 ... but have sooo much to catch everyone up with that I have no idea where to begin. The past three months have gone by so quickly! I promise to get you a check list of all the things coming up and one by one filling you in with what tiny and I have been up to. Until then, I will try to bring myself to getting organized!

Floral Patterns

Floral patterns are everywhere you look this season and everyone has their personal feeling of this fashion staple coming back but I happen to LOVE it! You don't have to totally cover your self in a floral pattern to get this season’s freshest look. Here are a couple of ways to add the girly look without looking like an outdated curtain. Accessories are great for the shrinking violets that are afraid to make the statement or commitment to get that look!

My Favorite Things

Here are some of my favorites things that I am looking forward to this summer. It is going to be a little hotter than what I have been use to lately but I think I can deal. I might have to have people drive up and down the streets in Bako to make sure I am not laying on the side of the road with and ice cream and bike..hahah!

Spring Fling Event

I have so much blogging to catch up on but have been so busy! Here is a little sneak peak of what I have been up too. My boss wanted to have some type of networking event and so this is what I delivered. I am totally pooped! The event turned out so well though and everyone had a blast. It was a lot of work for only a couple of hours but you know my saying...go big or go home! Enjoy the pictures!

My Dream Closet

I found these pictures of Ozzy Osbournes house after Christina Aguilera decorated it. It is a little over the top but I love the retro concept.  I do however have dreams of her closet...Aaawww, I would love filling it up and organizing it based on season. I read somewhere (so who knows if it's true) that she turned Jack's old bedroom into a hair salon and that the closet above is Kelly's old room! Can you just imagine?!

HomeGoods

Yesterday I spent the whole day running errands. I absolutely love the days that I get to wake up slow, go workout and run around with the hubby. I started out with a hike and then running to the fabric store for a couple of wedding orders I have. I could not complete the day without going to my favorite place, HomeGoods. I LOVE to go through everything and find deals, especially when they are so dang cute! I have a complete shopping system. Get the cart and if you like it or somewhat are thinking about it in the house, PUT IT IN THE CART! Too many times, I will go back through the aisles and items are gone. Then, towards the end of shopping, you go through everything, rank, and evaluate…then purchase. I always love to come home and immediately decorate with my fine and clean the house. Thank goodness, I have a patient husband! If you are into re-decorating a room, change your mind, and re-design every so often, I recommend going to HomeGoods! P.S. I got a lot done that day!

So summer is coming up on us very quickly and so I just want to put it out there that this SHOULD be on your summer read list. I would be reading this book in public and just burst out laughing, I love Chelsea Handler...she is the best. If you do read it call me to discuss...it is one that I am going to read again!

April Showers

Even though I know the hills will be plush and green with flowers blooming everywhere, I' m still ready for the rainy season to be over. I guess what they say is true. "April Showers brings May Flowers." We are just REALLY ready for the flower part,
especially being in sunny San Diego!

Stripes

I was out and about today doing anything and everything but what I needed to do and came across this vintage shop with these old chairs. I had to get them for my office and so I did. Later in the day I was at the fabric store and found this cute stripped fabric for the chairs...right on. Still have a HUGE list to do but I got the fabric for my invitation order...small progress but yet progress. Mine is just a powder pink and white but you get the idea...lovin’ stripes today!

Sweet Tooth

I have so many crafty things I need to do this weekend but all I can think of is making these cute little Easter cupcakes. I found this amazing cupcake site so between that and my Martha Stewart Cupcake book; I think I have all the tools I need. What do you think?

Lollia

Today I left the office for my lunch break which I never really do however glad I did today. I went down the street to this mall and walked around while I waited for my salad when I came across this bath store that was going out of business. It is horrible to think but that is one of the things I have loved because I have found some really cool items recently for more than half the price off. My bargin buy today was this hand creme brand that I love and had not purchased becuase I was trying to be good. Today though, I unloaded! I bought so many great items! Normally a bottle of there bubbles are $50.00 a bottle. I got two hand cremes and bubble for $45.00. Man that was a good lunch break! Here is the link to check it out.

Invitation Orders

I have been so blessed this month. I am so busy with invitation orders and really can only thank all of my previous clients for this recent rush. Since the store closed last June, I didn't think people would really work to seek me out but they have and I am truly moved by it. This month I have a little of everything, baby shower, baby announcements, wedding, wedding shower, graduation, kids birthday and wedding accessories. All have either had me do stuff for them before or referred to me by a previous client, NO ADVERTISING! I am so happy because the last rush I had was Christmas and I was starting to miss it. So whenever you are wondering why I haven't updated my blog...now you know. I will be sure to post pictures of the finished product.

Spring Cleaning

Today was a very busy day. I spent most of the day cleaning and doing the weekly laundry. The weather has been so beautiful that it was hard to stay inside...Spring is definitely here. I made a list of all the things in the house that I wanted detailed...it is so hard to get to everything in one day. I know is sounds crazy but I have planned my Spring Cleaning and actually looks forward to it. Literally everything will be turned upside down and organized. I will let you know how it goes.
