Here Comes Peter Cotton Tail

The weather has been warmer and I couldn't help myself to reflect my excitement or Spring than in my netflix. I ordered Here Comes Peter Cotton Tail, my favorite movie as a kid. I thought it would be fun to watch it with Ian. He thought I was totally crazy! I really like ho he decorates throughout the season and I think is a big part of what I like to do today. Anyways, I posted the little video below for you to see. They are remaking the video to be more animated for kids today even though I think this is the better one. If I had kids, we would show this this one...it leaves more to the imagination.

Spring Time

Spring is around the corner and I have already planned the first event for hubby and I to do. Carlsbad, which is about 30 minutes north of where we live, have a flower field they open every year from March to May. It is absolutely beautiful. Here are a couple of pictures from years past. Towards May, they actually sale the flowers to the people visiting. The fields are endless...it is so fun to walk around and they have little things to do there for the little ones. In the fall in becomes the pumpkin patch. Can't wait!

Guilty Pleasure

I have a confession and I know some of you my think differently of me but I don't know what else I can possible be say other than I can help myself. I LOVE THE REAL HOUSWIVES SERIES. I do, I love orange county, New York, Atlanta and New Jersey. I know this is less than creditable show but I can't help watch these women try to become singers and watch all the crap they buy. I love it! That's all I can say. Poor Ian dreads Thursday because I love to curl up in a blanket and watch the drama unravel. Some of the things they say, think do...it is just entertaining. I really want to write Bravo and let them know they are missing out on the San Diego market. I feel better coming clean. I know some of you thought you knew almost everything about me but I had to shed a little light. I'm done for now...baby steps. =)

The Bottomless List

It has been a very busy week...just when I get one thing done, I have to add two more things on my list. I am such a list person too...I love the feeling of marking things off my list and sometimes find myself adding things that were not originally on my list but already completed just so I can cross it out. This week is a little different. Had meeting all day Tuesday, phone calls and emails all day Wednesday along with baseball Bridal show this weekend. Baby shower order, bridal shower order, wedding order, switching over a website and working with the company to give them a marketing perspective and I have to go grocery shopping. Lordy! I have to go...the dryer just kicked off which means folding time!

Spring Ball

Today is the first game for Ian's Spring Ball League. Hopefully we can pull more wins than last season...I absolutely hate losing. For some reason, it makes me feel like summer is right around the corner and then I looked at a calendar...IT IS! Anyhoo, I will try to get some pictures of the big man in action.

The Perfect Touch

I was looking at all the spring stuff coming out into the stores online and I came across this piece of art. This would be a perfect touch to any outfit....it just has personality and deserves to just hit the town...I am waiting for it to go on sale!

Baby Shower

A couple of weeks ago, the girls in the office, along with myself, had a baby shower for one of our co-workers. Of course she had a boy but the really cool thing is she had her son Austin on Ian's birthday. Keri has had one of the hardest pregnancies on record. I don't know how she did and furthermore, it makes me EXTREMELY hesitant. Anyhoo, here are a couple of pictures from the shower, The pictures totally don't do it justice..super cute though. We didn't really have a theme just more of a color scheme.

No Regrets

Today I lost it; I totally showed weakness and gave in. It all started when Ian was getting ready to go to work. I got up, started doing our weekly cleaning, laundry and grocery shopping list etc…like we do every Sunday. For some reason, I got through all of my weekly chores quicker than usual and had a little extra time on my hands. I was completing some invitations orders I had and then it hit me like a ton of bricks. I wanted to get my nails done. Ian and I have been trying to be so good cutting back and saving for a house for so long that I just lost it. I couldn't get to the nail salon quick enough. After getting my pink and white on both my hand and toes, I called Ian to confess...luckily my husband is so great that he laughed. I did not even feel guilty and to be honest I would do it again. I know the economy could be better and I saving for a house is huge but a girl needs to get her nails done..that's my story and I am sticking to it. These aren't my nails but close enough. Ahhh I feel better!
