No Regrets

Today I lost it; I totally showed weakness and gave in. It all started when Ian was getting ready to go to work. I got up, started doing our weekly cleaning, laundry and grocery shopping list etc…like we do every Sunday. For some reason, I got through all of my weekly chores quicker than usual and had a little extra time on my hands. I was completing some invitations orders I had and then it hit me like a ton of bricks. I wanted to get my nails done. Ian and I have been trying to be so good cutting back and saving for a house for so long that I just lost it. I couldn't get to the nail salon quick enough. After getting my pink and white on both my hand and toes, I called Ian to confess...luckily my husband is so great that he laughed. I did not even feel guilty and to be honest I would do it again. I know the economy could be better and I saving for a house is huge but a girl needs to get her nails done..that's my story and I am sticking to it. These aren't my nails but close enough. Ahhh I feel better!

A Special Someone

Today is Ian's Birthday and I just wanted to let him know that I love him very much. He is such a special person in my life and so I just wanted to dedicate todays blog to him. We ended the day with his favorite diner, sushi and birthday cake. Happy Birthday Honey!

Aqua and Pink

I absolutely love throwing baby showers, but I am dying to throw one for a girl...dying. I saw this little colleague online today and it just is missing a key component, a mother expecting a GIRL! Don't get me wrong, I love little boys but there are just so abundant lately, I have so many friends and family expecting boys you would think something is going on...aside from knowing what's going on. I guess I will have to file this one away until someone is expecting a girl.

P.S. Cute boy clothing is so hard to find...I really do feel bad for the expecting mothers.

Olympics

Being a competitive person, I am a huge fan of sports and LOVE watching the Olympics. I find myself relating more towards the summer games because they are sports that I am definitely more familiar with but the winter games are straight up crazy. Hubby and I were watching the women’s downhill speed skating and all I could think of was there is NO WAY I would ever do that. After watching to girls eat it, all I could think is this is why I don't ski and helmets are a good thing. These girls were tossed thrown off the mountain. I feel like I would try many things but this is one I will gladly watch. I think if I had to choose a winter sport I would do the curling...just kidding. Seriously what is that about?

Cool Idea

I was looking online for a shower idea that I had seen a while back and I started to panic because I couldn't find an idea that I had seen .I am throwing a baby shower this weekend and must include this tablescape idea! Anyways, I ran across this idea...too bad the shower is for a boy, isn't this the cutest thing you have ever seen...so simple yet ads so much and very user friendly for doing it yourself.

My Valentine

Today was the best day! I woke up to a card lying on my pillow from my Valentine. I came down stairs to find a bigger card....an Ian card! We quickly got ready for the day and drove up to Temecula, it's so beautiful this time of year especially with all the rain we have been having; everything is so green. We grabbed a quick bite to eat and headed for the coast to do what Ian and I call "our drive." Down the 101 we cruised, it was 75 degrees with not a cloud in the sky. e stopped off at a couple antique shops which I love to go through, don't ask me why. We came home and made dinner together, curled up to watch a movie...perfect Valentine ’s Day! I can't express the love I have for Ian. After eight Valentine's Days together you would think things would kind of seem redundant but it hasn't it just keeps getting better! I love you Ian!

Look at the size of that card!

Love

Ian and I just wanted to send everyone out there our love!

So Fabulous!

I was cruzin' around online the other day and found a picture of this cocktail ring...soooo cute! Whenever an outfit doesn’t seem to be just right or an accessory doesn't seem to fit just right, throw on a cocktail ring...I always love to look at it all day when I'm typing on my computer at work!

Happy Birthday

Today is my little brothers birthday. I can't believe he is getting as old as he is. I can remember when he was just a little kid, always active and always giving my parent a heart attack. The only picture I have is a football one but needless to say, Happy Birthday and We Love You!!!

Almost Famous

I was almost famous last night when a very high profile bride and her wedding aired last night on Platinum Weddings. I had the honor of working with the daughter of Hall of Famer, Tony Gwynn. It was a year ago that I started working with her on her wedding invitations and then I ended up doing the menus, placecards, thank yous and even the dance floor logo. After she had picked up her order I just assumed that you don't always talk to the brides again until I got a phone call from the WE T.V. Network that they were going to be come by and interview me. I was so excited. I started to think over and over what I was going to talk about...it is only paper. Anyways, long story short, I got edited out! I prepared myself for that, I watched many episodes of this show and let's face it, there is no drama in paper. I posted a picture of the couple and a little video they had online. You can also click HERE to see all my information they put on the site. I love working with my professional athletes!
